What exactly are these?
Date and Time stamps are a staple of late-era film photography.
They started appearing in 80's - 00's film cameras and would allow users to imprint a date or time onto, typically, the bottom corner of their film photos.
In the early 2000's some of these imprints became more sophisticated and included little messages - though the cameras that could print these have become quite rare!
Are all the imprints real film imprints?
Absolutely! We shot countless cameras, all with their slight nuances in regards to how they would create their imprints, and extracted all our favourites to be used for Grainmaker.
